Golden Legacy
From our chartering on April 1, 1977, through five decades of initiates who have led in business, medicine, law, government, and education — Theta Psi has defined Black student leadership and excellence in the New River Valley.
Our Story
1976–1977
The chapter's beginnings in 1976 lead to the chartering of Theta Psi on April 1, 1977 — establishing Black student leadership at Virginia Tech.
1980s–1990s
Growth into Radford University, campus governance leadership, and deep community impact across the New River Valley.
2000s–2010s
Legacy expansion as sons, mentees and line brothers carry the chapter into a new century of achievement.
2020s–2027
Celebrating fifty years, building the endowment, and investing in the next generation of Theta Psi scholars.
